But, when we see that pain needed to attain that pleasure, we hesitate to move on. Being on the top of Mt. Everest is everybody’s dream, but the pain needed to get to the top can’t be neglected.

We have seen a lot of people who want to become wealthy in life, and experience the life of the rich and famous. But, do they have any idea about the pain and sacrifices the current rich people did when they were just starting out? Pain must come first before pleasure.

The beautiful world we currently live in with all its abundance and pleasures in the beginning was hostile; it started with volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, weather disturbances in colossal proportions. Just like all heavenly bodies in the universe started; pain before pleasure is a universal law.

Have you experienced something like trying to fulfill a dream or goal and make it into reality? When you started out, you were full of enthusiasm thinking about the pleasures or rewards you will get after accomplishing it, but when the path was laid out you saw the pain cloaked as obstacles.

The point here is to face the pain, and not run away from it. Pleasure is inevitable and will surely come, and pain is temporary and will be buried in history after achieving your goal. In context of achieving goals, success heals all pains. Remember: the mountain climbers of Mt. Everest, who reached the top of the world, celebrated triumphantly with wine and food while laughing at the sacrifices they did before reaching the top; it seems that climbing Mt. Everest was effortless.

People get’s easily clouded with pleasure in the beginning, preventing them from seeing the real pain needed in order to succeed. It’s one of the reasons why many big plans were not accomplished because not everybody wants to face the pain.

Have no fear for pain is just temporary. Go and survive. The pleasures after going through the pains and achieving the goal are there waiting.

effects

A wise person always foresees the effects of his actions. Universal law states that “For every action there’s an equivalent reaction.” In everything we do there’s always a consequence, whether if it’s good or bad.

The outcome of every action may not be what we truly expected, but this shouldn’t stop us from starting the initial action. As long as it’s carefully thought down to the minute details, then the effects will be near expectations or what was truly planned.

I don’t believe in something good or bad. Do what we can possibly do, and be what we can possibly be, as long as the effect of those actions doesn’t hurt you and others. Because if you believe that certain things are good, then the effects will be that certain things will become bad, and vice-versa.

Even if we don’t do anything, there’s always an effect. What we radiate to the world is what we attract. Imagine yourself in outer space looking at our world called Earth. Are you not amazed (effects to the emotional level) of this majestic blue jewel of the universe, still and silent yet radiates a grand aura. Others call it as “The Law of Attraction,” and give more importance to this law. Attraction is already the effect of what we radiate to the world.

The effects of who we are right now is because of the things we ate, drank, the books and magazines we read, the music and people we listened to, and all the things we did yesterday. Be meticulous of everything we take in to our selves, because whatever is in the mind, the mouth will speak and the body will act.

Cause and effect, action and reaction, radiation and attraction, and karma; whichever you may call it. We should always ask ourselves this, will I or somebody will get hurt of the action that I’m about to execute? Whichever it may be, be prepared to face the consequences, be willing to pay the price of the decision made.

Indeed, it requires effort in the level of thinking about what effects to expect when such action is implemented. But as long as the effects of this decision didn’t hurt you or somebody else, then life will be effortless in the long run. Effortless life in a way that the effects of your single decision didn’t made your life and the life of other people miserable.

effortless

Life is supposedly effortless. Look at all the living creatures unlike human beings. They don't work and just minding their own businesses, but effortlessly lives on this world. Their desires are simple: eats, sleeps, relates with their species and mates.

Human beings can live effortlessly too. We all know what our basic needs are, and these are food, shelters, clothing, and relationships. These are not difficult to have since we are designed to acquire these things.

Following the world's man made systems will truly make life full of difficulties. Each person was born to live life effortlessly. But the system restricts them in realizing it mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially, and physically.

Can't we grow our own food? Can't we just have one small house? Can't we just wear simple clothes? Can't we just have few quality friends?

The world's man made systems makes the perfectly born human imperfect. Fundamentally, we are perfect like how the world was truly created, and not how these systems expect us to do and what the world should be. The current world's systems view of perfection makes life difficult to live by.

Desiring for needless things is what these systems keeps on instilling us. Thus, we work more and worry too much. Clamoring with more wants than what we basically need doesn't make life effortless.

If we desire less, then we work less. We only need enough money to spend on true necessities. If we desire less, then we worry less. Being happy with having less is the key to an effortless life-being contented with who we are and what we have.

An effortless life is being simple. Doing the things we truly like. Happy and contented with having less. And, cherishing what we really need in life.
